Description
Reverend William Barker appointed to the Living of Holy Trinity, in the Forest of Dean. Queen Victoria's commands regarding a Grand Cross (G.C.B.) for Prince Ernest of Leiningen and Knight Commander (K.C.B.) for Prince Hermann of Hohenlohe-Langenburg conveyed to Lord de Grey. Permission requested for them and Sir Robert Peel (3rd Baronet) to wear the insignia pending investiture.
