Sir James Lewis Knight-Bruce's resignation from the Court of Appeal. Sir H. Cairns submitted for the Privy Council, on appointment as Lord Chief Justice, Court of Appeal. The Solicitor-General, Sir William Bovill's claims to the Attorney-Generalship waived in favour of Mr. J. Rolls. Mr J. Rolls submitted for a Knighthood on his appointment as Attorney-General.
