Queen Victoria's consent to undertake the Opening of Parliament. Assurance requested from Lord Derby (see No. 23). Queen Victoria's approval of the course proposed by Cabinet [relating to Parliamentary Reform]. Her hope of fair consideration being given to it by the Liberal Party. Her readiness to use her influence to this end.
