Lord Derby's submission of Dr C.J. Vaughan as Dean of Exeter, on the resignation of Viscount Midleton (William John Brodrick, 7th Viscount Midleton). Lord Derby on the necessity of Parliament to meet in November to sanction the employment of Indian troops in Abyssinia [Ethiopia]. Mr George Palton recommended for the Privy Council, on becoming Lord Justice Clerk of Scotland.
