Description
Lord Derby's reply to Queen Victoria (No. 2). His interview with Dr Jenner. Lord Derby on the postponement of an Army Review owing to the murder of Emperor Maximilian of Mexico. Hopes of arranging it for a future date, possibly for the Sultan and the Viceroy of Egypt, under the direction of the Prince of Wales. Lord Derby's thanks to Queen Victoria for altering her plans in order to receive the Sultan of Turkey, Abdul Aziz. Suggested arrangements.
