Description
Disraeli on the question of Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh's visit to India. Charles Du Cane has accepted the Governorship of Tasmania, Australia. His post as Civil Lord at the Admiralty vacated. Reverend Frederick Law submitted for the Living of Croft, Durham. Grounds for recommendation. Lord John Manners directed by Mr Disraeli to prepare plans for alterations to St James's [Palace] founded on pulling down the pseudo-German chapel. Mr Disraeli on James Hamilton, 1st Duke of Abercorn's pleasure at his elevation to the Dukedom.
