Description
Queen Victoria's reply to Mr Disraeli (No. 59). Warning against a reduction of the efficiency of the Army and Navy. Instructions regarding Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh's visit to Australia and other colonies. The latter not to receive him in state, nor go to any expense. Her Majesty's thanks to Mr Disraeli for granting Mrs George Housman Thomas, Lady Caroline Maria Daly (wife of Sir Dominick Daly) and Mrs Isabella Lee (widow of Professor Robert Lee) Civil List Pensions. Reminder of his promise of £100 to Mrs Oliphant. Consent to the conferring of Knighthoods on the Provost of Glasgow and the Mayor Londonderry.
