Queen Victoria understood to agree to persons recommended for Civil List Pensions by Mr Disraeli (No. 77). Her Majesty understood to agree to Mr Disraeli's suggestions for Knighthood (No. 76), with the exception of a second knighthood, in view of the inadvisability of making a special statute. Her Majesty understood to agree to Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston's creation as an English Peer and Reverend R.T. Mills' appointment [to the Living of Stanford-in-the-Vale, Berkshire].
