Mr Gladstone's proposals (No. 3) relating to Irish legal offices approved by Queen Victoria. Her regret at Sir C. Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax's refusal of appointment as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. Suggestion as to his having a seat in cabinet without office, to represent the old Whigs. Her Majesty's request for information regarding Sir C.M. O'Loghlen (submitted for appointment as Judge Advocate General - Army). Answer to the Memorial from the (Irish) Archbishops and Bishops praying for permission to meet in convocation, submitted by Mr Bruce.
