Description
Report adopted by Cabinet providing for a War Department building on the Thames Embankment (in view of Queen Victoria's desire for Horse Guards building to remain untouched). Franco-German War: Cabinet's decision to make known the French Government's three alternatives [?for armistice] to Germany. Cabinet decision regarding documents in preparation for the conference on the Black Sea clauses of the Treaty of Paris (1856). Cabinet's view as to the cancellation of the Tripartite Treaty (1856), in the event of a request by Turkey.
