Description
Colonel Ponsonby's correction of Mr Gladstone's report of Mr Lowe's speech (see No. 79). Latter's over profuse promise of inquiry into the distribution of the funds. Colonel Ponsonby on the failure of a meeting held in favour of the abolition of the House of Lords. Sir Charles Dilke's presence the cause of an uproarious ending.
