Description
Cabinet's decision to allow arrangements for sending the band of the Grenadier Guards to America to go forward. Seals placed in Mr Gladstone's hands by Lord Dufferin (Frederick Temple, 1st Earl Dufferin) provisionally, in view of the necessity of his absence in Canada (as Governor General of Canada).
