Description
Mr Gladstone on Cabinet's view of the case prepared and presented by the American Government on the Alabama claims. Cabinet's agreement to the Archbishop of Canterbury's request for Crown sanction to consideration by convocation of the recommendations in the Commission's Fourth Report. The Archbishop's hope of introducing a measure to deal with the question of Ritualism. Mr Gladstone on the proposed use of Greenwich Hospital as a central establishment for Naval education / training. Bill for facilitating punishment of slave trade offences in the South Seas approved by Cabinet.
