Mr Gladstone on the resignation of Charles Gordon, 11th Marquess of Huntly, as one of Queen Victoria's Lords-in-Waiting. Edward Hyde Villiers, 5th Earl of Clarendon, proposed as a Lord-in-Waiting. Mr Gladstone on the appropriation of £100 from the Royal Bounty for the fund being raised for the family of Mr C. Smith, Irish portrait painter. His execution of one of the first sketches of Queen Victoria in early life.
