Description
Cabinet's decision to apply to Parliament for the enlargement of Queen Victoria's power to prohibit the export of arms, in view of the position in Ashanti. Cabinet's answer to a request for compensation to British subjects suffering through Alabama and other cruisers. Cabinet's decision regarding the request, from members of the Metropolitan Board of Works, to be repaid the cost of erecting seats in Hyde Park for the procession on Thanksgiving Day, 1872. Law Officers to be consulted as to the position of Great Britain regarding the Three Rules under the Treaty of Washington (1871).
