Inexpediency of his doing so without the change being made universally applicable in the Royal house. Queen Victoria's wishes requested as to the conferment of the titles of Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Earl of Sussex on him. Mr Disraeli on the impracticability of reviving the original pension in the case of Edric F., 3rd Baron Gifford. His promise to watch for an opportunity of mending his fortunes. His suitability as a Lord-in-Waiting.
