DescriptionCopy letter from Lord John Russell to Lord Aberdeen regarding the danger of Sir E. Dering's motion to the Reform Bill and the opinion of Sir J. Young , Chief Secretary for Ireland, on the matter. Russell states that he is ready to postpone the bill until after Easter. Otherwise, he writes they may instead divide the bill into two parts, one containing disfranchisement and distribution of seats, the other containing the extension of the franchise.
